Thank you so much for sharing this information! Buford is our only pet. I found him a couple months ago at a local park. He followed me a couple days. I talked to some of the men that worked there, no one had asked about him, so I took him home 🙂 Where he has become our indoor baby except when we leave. He can be very timid at times, & has a nasty case of separation anxiety. He also is a very good digger so fencing is not an option. I hate “chaining” dogs up, but he can’t be trusted inside alone loose. He has torn up the bathroom wall & tore up a metal cage. I think he got them from an old plastic dog house our neighbor gave us. Buford didn’t have fleas at first, but he did have a nasty case of tape worms. It took 2 treatments to get rid of. Last night I used the flea bath. I wasnt sure what type of soap to use. I had read other sites that recommended regular Dawn. He seems to have sensitive skin. I found & used some Dawn pure essentials. I forgot to add water to it, but had soaked him down good before applying the mix. Lathered him up good top to bottom & continued to scrub, pet, rub it in for 15 minutes. Rinsed him thoroughly, dried him off. Tried to comb & brush him but he was done with the whole “spa” treatment. I also had made some of the apple cider water spray. Was able to rub that on him a little. He is not a fan of spray bottles. Have also used spray around the house. We have mainly laminate & linoleum flooring. After sweeping good I sprayed it on floor and went over it with a dustmop. Examined him good this morning and very very very happy to say after the one treatment he is flea free! And he looks & smells amazing! I know there is a chance of eggs & such. Have very high hopes because we haven’t seen any on floors, surfaces, or kids. All his bedding has been washed hot & dried very hot. Which I do at least once a week. Have a few questions 🙂 How often do we add the Braggs apple cider vinegar to his water? Do you have any suggestions for natural cleaners for the dog house? Also, what natural flea prevention/treatment for his outdoor area would you recommend? I made the lemon flea comb. Was going to use this also as a flea deterrent spray/wipe for dog & around the house. Do you know how long it will keep? How often should I apply it or other spray to Buford? And think this is my last question 🙂 is there anything natural you would recommend for worm prevention? I am trying to embark on a holistic lifestyle. We live in WV organic, green etc is not really popular. Its hard to find items in grocery store & it would be easier if my husband would get on board 🙂 Again, thank you for this post it has really helped 🙂
Fakes have been a problem ever since drugs, not just steroids, have been on the black market. Fortunately for us, steroids aren’t typically bought in raw form all rolled up in a little baggy. It is a little more difficult to duplicate a steroid and if you know what to look for, they aren’t really all that hard to spot. Probably the biggest problem is that since they are only available to the bodybuilder through the black market, there is no real guideline to go by when determining if a product is real or fake. It’s like if someone were to try to sell you a fake can of Pepsi, you would know that it was fake just by looking at it. You’ve seen it before; you know what it looks like. At the very least you would notice that the Pepsi looked funny. Not knowing what the ‘real stuff’ looks like is what fake dealers count on! And unless you see brand name steroids on a regular basis, you won’t be the wiser.
